Seeds are made when Burnt Residue is dropped onto a Kinetic Press from at least 25 blocks high. Each valid press action produces one Gold and one Seed. Touch the Seed pixel with Water to make a Wet Seed, then place that Wet Seed on a Planter Box to grow a Flower.

How to Get Seeds with the Kinetic Press
First ignite Residue to create Burnt Residue. Drop the Burnt Residue onto a Kinetic Press from a height of 25 or more blocks. One Burnt Residue always passes through as one Gold and one Seed when the height requirement is met.
How to Wet Seeds
Make a Seed pixel touch a Water pixel. They combine directly into a Wet Seed that is ready to plant. No Seed Wetter building, recipe menu, wetting duration, or production rate is documented.
What to Do with Seeds
The documented next step is to turn Seed into Wet Seed with Water, then make the Wet Seed touch a Planter Box. It grows into a Flower. Destroying that Flower with weapons or Fire releases Gold and Amethelis; the Flower head contains four Amethelis and one Gold.
Seed, Wet Seed, and Void Seed
Seed is the dry Kinetic Press output, while Wet Seed is its Water-processed, plantable form. Void Seed has a separate official material page and is not a normal stage of this chain. Current 2026 sources use Seed and Kinetic Press; older 2025 guides may use the retired Spore and Kinetic Slag Press terminology instead.
