Wet Seed
Wet Seeds are made when a Seed pixel touches a Water pixel. The dry Seed comes from processing Burnt Residue with a Kinetic Press. Wet Seed is Slushy with density 100—the same density as Water—so it may remain suspended instead of sinking. Place it on a Planter Box to grow a Flower that can be harvested for Gold and Amethelis.

How to Make Wet Seeds
Make a dry Seed pixel touch a Water pixel. Direct contact combines them into a Wet Seed that is ready to plant; the official sources do not name a separate wetting machine. To obtain the dry input first, drop Burnt Residue onto a Kinetic Press from at least 25 blocks high. That press step always produces one Gold and one Seed for each Burnt Residue.
Why Wet Seeds Float in Water
Wet Seed has density 100, exactly matching the documented density of Water. Unlike dry Seed, which has density 150, a Wet Seed may remain suspended in Water instead of sinking. The official Wiki identifies this as the main production challenge. Dry and Wet Seeds have different densities and naturally separate when mixed, but no complete automated handling layout or conversion speed is documented.
How to Plant Wet Seeds
Make the Wet Seed touch a Planter Box. It grows into a Flower; dry Seed is not documented as directly plantable. Destroy the Flower with weapons or Fire to release its resources. The official Flower page describes the head as containing four Amethelis and one Gold. It does not publish a growth time, planting capacity, cooldown, or guaranteed factory throughput.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Wet Seed in Sandustry?
Wet Seed is the Slushy, plantable material created when Seed touches Water. It has density 100 and is processed by the Planter Box.
How do you make Wet Seeds?
Make a Seed pixel touch a Water pixel. The official Seed mechanics describe direct contact and do not list a ratio, duration, or dedicated machine.
Why do Wet Seeds float in Water?
Wet Seed and Water both have density 100, so Wet Seeds may remain suspended in the Water instead of sinking below it.
How do you plant Wet Seeds?
Place a Wet Seed on a Planter Box or otherwise make it touch the box. The documented result is a Flower.
What does a Wet Seed grow into?
A Wet Seed grows into a Flower. Destroying the Flower with weapons or Fire drops Gold and Amethelis from its head.
