Gun: Confirmed Function
The bullet excavates at range, but the Digging damage type cannot remove materials that require Drilling damage. Official examples of resistant terrain include Crackstone, Stone and Copper Ore, which should be handled with the Drill or Laser instead.
Setup and Production Role
Aim at ordinary solid terrain where close access is inconvenient and use individual shots to open a small route without consuming ammunition. Stop when a hard layer remains, identify the material, and switch to a Drilling tool rather than assuming repeated Gun fire will eventually break it.
Limits and Verification
No official value is given for firing rate, projectile range, impact radius, exact damage or available upgrades. Unlimited ammunition means no ammo resource is consumed; it does not mean that the Gun can damage every solid or that its excavation speed is unlimited.
