Research Data
The Snowmaker is a Tier 5 thermal building unlocked for 2,500 Gold. It consumes Energy to convert Water into Snow for cooling, condensation and water-cycle production.
The official Research page is marked work in progress. These facts reflect the captured August 20, 2026 version and may change with game updates.
Snowmaker: Confirmed Function
The Research page confirms the powered Water-to-Snow conversion. Snow is a Wisp material that can freeze Water, solidify Lava into Scoria, or be heated into Steam; the Condenser research also uses Snow for gas-to-liquid processing.
Setup and Production Role
Provide Water and a working Energy supply, then route the Snow to the chosen cold-side process. Use it for renewable water handling, Condenser operation or Lava solidification, but keep each downstream reaction separated when precise output matters.
Limits and Verification
The official sources do not give Water consumption, Snow output ratio, Energy cost per pixel, cycle time, capacity or temperature. They confirm the conversion and downstream reactions, not a specific infinite-water machine layout or efficiency.
