Pipe: Confirmed Function
Attached Pipes carry non-Lava liquid from a Pump to a Liquid Vent. The Pipe, Pump and Beginner's Guide pages disagree on how mixed inputs choose outputs, but all of them make mixed networks unsafe when a production stage requires one deterministic liquid.
Setup and Production Role
Build a continuous connection between the Pump input and the intended Vent output. Use separate networks for Water, Liquid Copper or other liquids when mixing would break the next production stage; the Vent cannot select a requested liquid.
Limits and Verification
The captured sources provide no pipe capacity, flow rate, pressure, maximum length, junction limit or construction cost. They explicitly exclude Lava and warn about mixed networks, so those two constraints are firmer than any inferred throughput rule.
