Liquid Vent: Confirmed Function
The Vent occupies 4×4 pixels, but only its central 2×2 deposits liquid; blocking its bottom three pixel layers stops output. Pumping continues while the input liquid is at or above Pump level and output has not reached Vent level. The official logistics guide says this system needs no power.
Setup and Production Role
Use one Vent as the output of a network and keep each liquid type on a separate line. Official sources conflict on mixed routing: they variously describe closest-liquid priority, even distribution and every liquid reaching every Vent, so no precise shared-network algorithm is treated as verified.
Limits and Verification
The sources do not state vent output rate, capacity, pressure, maximum network length or a way to filter the output. Lava is explicitly excluded from Pump transport, so a normal Pipe and Liquid Vent network is not a verified Lava-moving solution.
