Florinol Battery: Confirmed Function
The official Florinol page confirms the full state change: Florinol placed in the Battery provides Energy, and using that Energy solidifies the liquid into Florinol Soil. The Soil can be destroyed inside the Battery to turn back into Florinol and effectively recharge it.
Setup and Production Role
Build the upstream chain Amethelis to Dry Amethelis, burn it into Florin, condense that gas into Florinol, then deliver the liquid to the Battery. The stored Energy is a prerequisite for powered buildings and for the Drill research path.
