Five Beginner Factory Modules

This early-game build is one shared main belt with five functional modules. Filters pull each useful product into its own chamber, while anything unmatched stays on the belt and returns for another pass.

Connected beginner factory modules sharing a recirculating main belt Practical guide

Module 1: Sand Washing and Lift

Feed Sand through Water before lifting it to the Shakers. Build the lower Conveyor and Launcher first, then enclose the path so pixels cannot escape. Leave vertical and side clearance for later filters and return lines.

Module 2: Triple Shaker Bank

The demonstrated module uses three Shakers and Launchers, but the count is not a required ratio. The important pattern is parallel contact, enough fall/landing room and an output area that separates Gold from Residue without blocking the next batch.

Module 3: Gold and Residue Separation

Allow Gold through the lowest useful Filter into the Gold store. Route Residue to a larger buffer with moving floors; do not let it collect beneath the Shakers. Reserve a wall opening for the later burner/press stage.

Module 4: Burn, Press and Store Seeds

Burn Residue, allow only Burnt Residue into the Kinetic Press path, then separate the resulting Gold and Seeds. The narration briefly uses the demo name Spore; the current output is Seed. Give Seeds their own large chamber because the next production tier consumes them.

Module 5: Main-Belt Return Loop

Use Filters as exits from one shared belt: only the intended material falls into each module. At the end, return everything unmatched to the start instead of dropping it into empty terrain. A separate Sand return can send missed Sand back through the wetting stage.

The placeholders in the build matter: reserve connection points before the next tier arrives. Adjust tank heights to your actual production; the demonstrated 35–40 tile chambers are creator choices.

Guide FAQ

Are these five separate factories?
They are five functional modules connected by one main belt: washing, shaking, sorting, pressing/storage and recirculation.
Do I need 35–40 tile tanks?
No. Those are demonstration dimensions; size buffers around your observed flow.
